GO! Jesus was always moving around, going to new places and meeting new people. The last thing on His mind was “circling the wagons” and just holding on to the friends He already had. When He trained His closest friends on how to live for God, He talked to them about the importance of taking what the Bible calls “Good News” to people everywhere.
We believe that we are to take this incredible message of God’s goodness, grace, and mercy and talk to people about it. We believe that we are to help send people who feel God has called them to places where we can’t go. We believe that a healthy church is going to be seeking ways to start new churches and that healthy disciples produce other healthy disciples. This is all going to take place as we move out of our uplifting worship services and safe study groups and go into the world.
We have members of our Crossroads family who have moved to places like Peru and East Asia to tell others about Christ. To learn about them, go here.
We take short-term mission trips and do local mission projects.
We are pursuing a life of training disciples to reproduce themselves in the lives of others and are committed to helping our church reproduce itself in the form of additional campuses and in helping other self-sustaining churches get established. To learn more about that, go here.
The model above is our way of trying to visualize what happens in and through our church and in and through the lives of individuals. Notice the two sets of arrows. We gather people in for worship, community, evangelism and ministry. But, we go out into the world with the hope Christ has given us and a passion for sharing with others what God can do for them.
