MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Can you walk the walk?

For teenagers, the pressure comes from all sides. It tells them to compromise. It takes their lives and their promise, and warps their reality. CrossWalk wants to change all that with a dynamic vision for ministry to bcw_greenoth churched and unchurched youth. CrossWalk provides a time for your student to bring their friends to a non-threatening place to hear the Good News about Jesus Christ. The atmosphere is welcoming and the language is easy to understand.

CrossWalk Wednesdays are designed around those who do not attend church and don\'t know how Christ can turn their lives around. Between the latest in video games, the constant pool-table competition, and the action all around, CrossWalk is a "full-service" thing! Add to that lots of music and a ton of people to meet and hang out with, and you've got CrossWalk Wednesdays!

CrossWalk Sundays are all about growth. The teaching is straight ahead and hits the mark landing right where kids are, giving them something they can use. It's designed more for the youth who is already part of the life of the church, but still comes across in language any teen could grasp. CrossWalk Sundays are the place to be!

Aside from our weekly meetings, CrossWalk has a lot going on!   We have yearly camps, mission trips, service projects, paintball excursions, events, and outreaches
too!

CROSSWALK STUDENT CENTER is a 6500 sf facility designed just for students.  It opens at around 6:00 pm during the school year, with the student-led worship service beginning at 7:00 pm.

CROSSWALK COLLEGE STUDENTS MINISTRY

Crosswalk Student Ministry is also for College students.  We have a large number of students from area colleges who consider Crossroads their church home-away-from-home.

As a young person graduates from high school, they go off to college or get into the full-time-job market. It is here, in the real world where the life of the young adult is turned upside down! They are not really youth anymore, but they are not quite adults either. (It sure sounds a lot like the transition from Jr. High to Sr. High school… only now they can drive!) Change is the buzzword of the day as they are faced with the realities of bills, relationships, opportunities and responsibilities, all of which cause their heads to spin as they try to figure out what happened to them in the months and years following high school. While all this is going on, young adults are making the most important life-changing decisions they will ever face: school, degree, career, work, and the possibility of a “forever” future with a spouse, children and a car payment and mortgage.

The scenario is no different for the Christian young adult. Close to seventy percent, after being raised in the church, drop out of church while making all the same decisions.

Here is where Crosswalk College comes in - gathering Christian young adults who are attempting to stay focused on the goal set before them . . . “merging” into community. With the support of other believers, young adults are choosing to merge into: (1) a deeper relationship with Christ, (2) an understanding of God’s plan for their lives, (3) their role in the worldwide community of believers and (4) life at Crossroads! Through teaching, worship, fellowship (while sipping espresso drinks) and nights out on the town, young adults are finding the support they need to face the harsh reality of being all grown up! It’s not all serious though! With opportunities to have fun together our young adults are merging together while having a blast!

Crosswalk College meets every Sunday for their own LIFE group meeting.
From Sunday morning Bible Study, Sunday Celebration Worship, to special evenings in the Crosswalk Student Center just for college-age students, to getting involved in ministry as a volunteer, there’s something for you at Crossroads!
